Kevin Garvey

Kevin Garvey is the Mayor of Mapleton, a small town in Mid-America. Three years before, the town had been devastated by the Sudden Departure which occurred on October 14th. The Sudden Departure was an event felt around the world. As Mayor, Kevin has to deal with the grief and sadness that maintains a grip on the town as well as his own worries and concerns about the tragic day’s impact on him and his family.

Kevin had everything going for him as a young man. He had enjoyed being a star on his high school’s football team and became a prominent businessman in town by expanding his family’s chain of liquor stores and making them highly profitable.
