Chapter Twelve Summary

Jill realizes that she should have been back at the white rock already and turns to run to it, arriving just before the others. She turns back to see a Caloremene running towards the stable with something kicking and struggling. It was Eustace.

Tirian and the Unicorn rush to rescue him, but the Calormene was closer to the door and soon flung Eustace inside and shut the door. They formed a line on the open space of the stable. Jill turns her face aside to avoid getting the arrows wet.

Griffle and the Dwarfs soon start to shoot the Calormenes and Griffle repeats that the Dwarfs are for the Dwarfs. They wanted Narnia for themselves.

Rishda Tarkaan orders 30 to keep watch of the fools by the rock and the rest to go after the dwarves. Thankful for a brief rest, Tirian...
