Part 2, A Heart Unacquainted, Chapters 1-7 Summary

Chapter 1 begins with Victoria thinking about Grant and how she has a hard time remembering him, not just because of his personality but because of how seriousness he took the business of flowers and their meanings. Victoria spends the week after their meeting researching and comparing the meanings of flowers and, at the flower market with Renata that Saturday, she hands Grant a scroll with her research on flowers through the letter J.

Grant meets her outside of Bloom later that day and invites her to his flower farm to continue discussing meanings and Victoria agrees to go, although she isn't sure if she likes her growing feelings for him.
