Chapter 9 Summary and Analysis

In Chapter 9: The Fifth Harbinger: The Gazit Stone, the fifth seal shows an irregular line which Nouriel takes to be a mountain, but he finds nothing about mountains in the prophecy until he researches hewn stone and learns that the Hebrew word for stone is Gazit Stone, indicating a stone cut from mountain rock. Unable to connect the clues to America, Nouriel goes to upstate New York where he notices a mountain that matches the shape on the seal. At the top of the mountain, he finds the prophet who explains that the laying of the first stone, the cornerstone, is symbolic because it signals the beginning of the nation's rebuilding and the fulfillment of their vow as well as their rejection of God's calling. After 9/11, a Gazit stone from this mountain was carried to Ground Zero to mark the beginning...
