Part 2, Chapters 6-10 Summary

The meeting took place at the office of Fawzi Kabir. Kaukji reassures Ibrahim that he doesn't hold the failed attack on Tabah against him. He says that they must now all unite to face the common enemy. Abdul Kadar said that Heusseini felt the same. Kabir adds that it is important for there to be unity in the Arab world. "But it is the same old cast of players. The leopard does not change his spots or the camel discard his hump at the water hold. What has changed? All three men are seething with ambition.
