Chapters 26-31 Summary

In chapter 26, Maeve teaches Petal and Tulip how to use a sword. While they are distracted, Brannoc leaves and makes friends with the Black fairies. In chapter 27, Dinnie and Kerry go out on their first date to a club where some of Kerry's musician friends play. The date goes well despite Heather's fears that Dinnie might do something wrong. In Cornwall, Aelric goes to see Marion where he is turned down flat. However, Aelric learns that Marion is building a Celtic Alphabet and she needs a Welsh poppy.
