Summary

In Chapter 6, Charlie dreaded going home because she knew that Ben would not be there. She missed him desperately. They had met in law school and decided on their third date that they wanted to get married. For years they had a solid relationship. Charlie knew that Ben had left her because she had started belittling him, just like his sisters had once done. Even though Charlie knew it was hurting Ben, she could not make herself stop being a nagging wife. Ben had tried to get her to go to couples therapy but was not successful. After two years, Ben left.
