Chapters 7- 9 (pages 45-83) Summary

The court house is complete chaos. Outside are reporters, news cameras, and press all clamoring to hear the latest details of the case. Win and Myron take a seat in the courtroom and await for Esperanza's case to be called. When it is finally announced, the press inside goes wild. The prosecution asks that Esperanza be remanded without bail. Hester Crimstein is outraged by this request and insists that Esperanza does not have the means to escape. She is also a well known partner at a well-known sports agency and that people will recognize her. The prosecutor then points out Win and Myron.
