Chapters 17 through 19 Summary

In Chapter seventeen, Sinda learns the king has come down with redvein. Sinda is certain Melaina has caused the illness, the same one that killed her sister the oracle. Sinda soon sets out for Saremarch. Sinda arrives in the small village of Saremarch and one of the villagers asks if she's there because there's a tinker stopping in town that day. She lies, saying she'd heard the tinker was coming to town, and spends time hanging around the village, hoping Nalia will come to town to see the tinker as well. When the princess arrives, Sinda is certain of her identity.

In Chapter eighteen, Nalia is a small girl and she's obviously had a hard life. She believes herself to be Mika. She runs from Sinda initially and Sinda has to chase her all the way to her tiny shack. Sinda...
