The Disordered Cosmos: A Journey into Dark Matter, Spacetime, & Dreams Deferred is a nonfiction book written by physics and astronomy professor Chandra Prescod-Weinstein, which is written as a non-linear memoir. It talks about her experiences working in academic physics, which means that it contains equal amounts of space dedicated to talking about physics and to talking about social structures and Prescod-Weinstein’s work-life balance.

The Disordered Cosmos consists of an introduction, fourteen chapters and an epilogue, followed by acknowledgements, a recommended reading list and an index.
