Chapters 16-19 Summary

In chapters 16 the plans are made for Andrea to replace Emily in Paris. The entire office is thrown into a frenzy preparing Andrea's wardrobe and make up for any event she might have to attend with Miranda. Though Andrea will also have hair and make up artists available to her, Allison, Miranda's former assistant and now beauty editor, gives Andrea a crash course in what she might have to do to prepare herself in an emergency.

While the preparations are taking place, life goes on at Runway and Andrea is forced to do her job as well as Emily's, though Emily does try to help from home when she can. Meetings are held and Miranda's demands are met at all costs. Miranda's demands increase daily and Andrea instinctively reaches for the phone to call Alex and complain about her day frequently...
