Summary

In Chapter Five: With Purpose to Explore or to Disturb, the girls arrive at the library and Elizabeth is desperate to find Victor so she does not have to return to the Frankensteins. The librarian knows of Victor but does not have his address. Instead, he tells her to try the bookseller, as Victor stopped visiting after the librarian told him about the store.

Elizabeth thinks back to the day after being sold to the Frankensteins. Once they arrived at their home, Elizabeth desperately tried to keep their love, terrified that they would sell her.
