Summary

In Chapter 23, Brian drove to Manhattan to see Andrea. Hank was missing from the station, so he did not have to hide where he was going.

Andrea let Brian in when he said he knew her family and son. She was reluctant to reveal the details about her family’s involvement with Roland, but offered to tell Brian where he was “meeting with his Mexico connection” (222).

On the way back to Port Chester, Brian worried about Tara and the case. He worried Tara might still have “some kind of feelings or loyalty for [Roland]” (223). He drove to her house, disappointed not to find her car in the drive. Eddie let him in.
