Summary

“Lemonade” follows a teenage girl named Louanne. She is at a mall in Los Angeles, California. She is with a classmate named Sylv. Louanne gave Sylv a ride to the mall. They are eating in the food court, when Sylv suddenly leaves Louanne alone there for at least 15 minutes. Louanne worries that she somehow offended Sylv. Sylv returns, and Louanne tries to engage her in conversation again, but Sylv pays her no attention. Sylv is preoccupied with texting her boyfriend, Jack, and wondering when he will arrive. Louanne and Sylv soon go to meet Jack in front of the makeup store in the mall. They see two classmates named Barb and Nature, both of whom have been unkind to Louanne in the past.
