Siri's house

This is where the main part of the story takes place. This house is the summer home of Jon and Siri. it is old and rustic and rather expensive. This is where Milla comes to be a nanny for them and where Jon is writing, or trying to write, his third book for his trilogy.

The Woods

This is where the boys found Milla's body after looking for a buried treasure they had. They were mistaken about where they'd buried the milk pail and locate, instead, Milla's body there. The woods are also where KB took Milla that night they walked off together.

The Lake

This is a great source of anguish for many characters. Siri sees it as the place her brother died. Jenny sees it as the place where she lost her son. Alma, on the other hand, sees it as a place that she...
