Galaxity

Galaxity is the metropolis city of the future and home of Valerian and Laureline. The majority of the action takes place in 1986, long before Galaxity is formed. What little is seen of the city indicates a paradise where people lead idyllic lives.

New York City

New York City is where Valerian and Laureline go in their quest to find Xombul. Valerian arrives to find the city in ruins after a series of disasters, but there are some recognizable landmarks, such as the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, and United Nations building. The city completely falls when a tsunami strikes, just as Valerian, Laureline, and Sun Rae escape.
