Chapter 8 Summary and Analysis

Chapter 8. When the apple picking season ends, the farmer asks Melony to stay on for mousing. When Melony finishes mousing, she decides to head to a bigger city in Maine for the winter.

It's Thanksgiving, and Wally and Candy are home from school for the holidays. The Worthingtons are hosting the dinner, which includes Candy and her father, Ray.
