Chapter 12 Summary

Beginning to believe in Dr. Jewel's abilities, Cameryn does not know how to reconcile her faith and science with Dr. Jewel's ability to talk to the dead. She thinks it is interesting that St. Christopher is the patron saint of travelers since all of his victims were found in different states. When Justin arrives to talk to Cameryn about the coroner's report, Mammaw warns her to guard her heart. After looking at a map of the victims' locations which indicates no obvious pattern, Cameryn and Justin discuss the differences between organized and disorganized killers. Though Adam fits the profile of a disorganized killer, Justin does not believe that Adam is the murderer because the Christopher Killer seems to fit the profile of an organized killer.
