The Old Place
The Old Place is a building on the Proctor’s Ravenswood estate that relies on higher magic to function rather than electricity. While it looks ancient and somewhat dilapidated, it is much bigger than it looks and filled with magical wards and hexes. Gwyneth prefers to do most of her magical work in The Old Place, including brewing potions and caring for the ghosts in the attic. This is where Diana first meets Gwyneth and where they return for certain parts of her studies.
Ravens’ Wood
Ravens’ Wood is a forest that shares the name of the estate itself (Ravenswood). It is a vast place filled with Proctor ghosts, shades, animals, and wild magic that can overwhelm any witches who are not prepared.
