The Quad

This is a section on the Eastwood High School campus where students spend their lunch periods. The quad is important because there is a division between groups of students. The jocks, cheerleaders, and their closest friends tend to gather at a specific group of tables while Toby, Phoebe, and some of the other students involved in debate and other academics gather at another. There is a specific table where the most popular students sit and Ezra is part of that group until he is injured in the car wreck. After that, he feels he doesn't belong there. It's not until then that he sees the table for the senseless status symbol it really is.
