Summary

Kate forces Martin to eat some of a candy bar as Adam scowls in the corner. She asks him about his notes, and he tells her that the answers are buried with the dead. He tells her to find the turning points. Adam tells her it’s time to move and helps her stand Martin up. They join an endless stream of sick and dying people who are being loaded. Adam tells her they need to get below where it won’t be so hot when morning comes. They find an empty room, and he leaves her and Martin there to go and find some supplies. The satellite phone has no service, so she closes her eyes. In her sleep, she is with David, who is constructing a plan to save lives and take a city.
