Summary

As Sara begins her work as Theo's new office manager, she receives a letter from Natalia, who reports that she has been freed from Blackwell Island and is now with her family in Boston. Business is incredibly slow for Theo, as very few clients approach him. When Theo dreads an upcoming speech that he must give at an architectural forum, Sara encourages Theo to discuss his visions for the sleek, modern city of the future. The speech is a big success, creating a ton of interest in Theo's services.

With Mrs. Camden gone, Theo and Sara make love again. Sara confronts Theo about a crib that is being delivered to his apartment, and he explains that he is taking in a young child (effectively an adoption) named Christopher.
