Summary

In Chapter 12, during her visit with Lamb and Abby the Countess smoked and drank even though the smoking sent her into a coughing fit. She decided to take a walk and asked Lamb and Vix to escort her.

Lamb remembered walking into the bathroom to find the Countess soaking in the tub. He was only four or five. She invited him into the tub with her and played with him with his tugboat. She also let him touch her breasts.

The Countess, Charlotte, had been his mother’s best friend. Lamb choked up thinking how his mother would be the same age as the Countess.
