Summary

Georgia writes about heartbreak in Georgia Demonstrates the Zen in the Art of Being a Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. She advocates for the straightforward, honest, and clean breakup that leaves a person in the condition in which you found them. At nineteen, Georgia fell for a guy named Aiden who she met during her first summer in LA at a vintage clothing store. She loved his Vespa and was quickly smitten with him. They began seeing each other but, in retrospect, Georgia realized that she had projected her fantasy of who he could be onto him, obscuring who he really was. It turns out that Aiden had a girlfriend he was hiding from Georgia and he eventually broke up with her.
