Summary

In Chapter 9, Lorelei and her husband Doug make plans to move to Boston, as Doug’s job has been transferred there. Audra is extremely upset at this news. Suddenly, Matthew decides that he has lost interest in origami and no longer wants to attend the origami club. In an unrelated incident, Derek appears to have ended his friendship with Matthew, much to Matthew’s dismay. Audra decides to try to re-forge the friendship between Derek and Matthew. Audra calls Derek’s mother Brenda to set up a play date, but Brenda says that she will not force Derek to spend time with Matthew if Derek does not wish to do so.
