Summary

In Chapter 13, Brooke found herself falling in love with Ethan as she took sole responsibility for his care. She was so busy she did not realize right away that she had not had a period for two months. Brooke researched pregnancy on the Internet and realized that she and Paul had not had sex in the time period in which she figured she had gotten pregnant meaning she was carrying her father’s baby. She decided to have a friend drive her to a parenting center to discuss options. The night she made that decision, Brooke had a miscarriage.
