Part 2, Chapter 12 - Part 2, Chapter 17 Summary

Part 2, Chapter 12 - Ambulances arrive for a large man, soaking wet, lying on the patio, dead. The desire to flee is stopped by Charles, who says they can't leave a crime scene. Charles is also worried, looking for Hannah, but she cannot be found. Charles goes to see her the following weekend. Hannah is well, but shaken up. Hannah meets Blue and the others for dinner, and puts her foot down, telling them their actions could have gotten her fired, and them expelled. Blue also notices that Hannah is drinking more and beginning to swear more and more.

Leulah asks Hannah about the man who died, and Hannah explains that it was an old friend from Chicago, Smoke "Dubs" Harvey. He was a good man who always could make people laugh. He was a banker...
