Chapter 21-22 Summary

Archer finds Jack lying unconscious in the middle of the road. He has been hit in the side of his head and the upper tip of his left ear is missing. Archer uses the phone in Lennox's car to call for help and then goes to explore the lookout tower. Afraid to touch anything Archer goes back outside to wait for the ambulance. The ambulance takes Lennox away and two officers remain behind to question Archer. He tells them what he saw and the three of them walk around the crime scene. The men discover that the second man was shot too. Captain Dolan questions Archer but Archer refuses to divulge much information.
