Chapters 13 to 15 Summary

Tina arrives at the stilt house in a borrowed Capri Bayliner with two girlfriends and tells Mick Stranahan that she is going back to her boyfriend Richie. She begs him to make love to her but as she cannot remember the names of all four Beatles, Stranahan declines her offer and she leaves in a huff.

When Christina Marks arrives at the stilt house, she tells Mick about the armed freak on the water jet ski and also what Travigan told her about the tree-trimming brother of the surgeon Graveline. Mick Stranahan hears the water jet ski engine and shuts up the house and waits for his assailant inside in the dark. Chemo realizes that Stranahan is waiting inside and comes on board the stilt house. He fires shots into the house from all four sides and enters through the front...
