Summary

Part II:" Blade and Bone" continues with Chapter 37 as Tamsin starts to drown. She keeps thinking this has happened before, recalls her dream; and pulls the Sword from the ground. It bursts into flames and she cuts the creature before trying to get the athame. The creature gets away and, moments from death, Tamsin is pulled to shore by Emrys. She is terrified he will see her silver bone as the Children approach, despite it being daytime. Emrys takes her sword, but the flames go out. Tamsin realizes one of the children is Septimus and the revenant returns, fully healed. Emrys realizes it is Viviane, but she calls the children away as Tamsin falls unconscious.

Tamsin wakes up in Chapter 38 with Emrys tending a fire. She convinces herself his worry is actually pity, but Emrys says Tamsin finally knew' him. As...
