Part 2: Chapter 24-31 Summary

Dr. Talos' play clams to be about parts of the lost Book of the New Sun. Much like the play that had taken part in the woods, there came a moment when Baldanders was to scare the people, but not to frighten them away, since these people are more wealthy. When this happens Baldanders becomes suddenly mad and attacks people. Severian knows there will be a lot of trouble and runs and finds that Dorcas and the others are gone already. He walks for a while worrying about her. He soon finds them in a clearing in the woods. Baldanders is hurt but alive and able to travel.
