Summary

Chapter 11 recounts the conversations that happened the morning after the trauma of visiting their newly married-with-children friend in the suburbs. Miranda tells Carrie over the phone how she ended up at a party and had sex with an engaged stranger in a closet. Belle’s husband Newbert calls Carrie looking for Belle, who is apparently missing. Next, Carrie learns Sarah went rollerblading in her basement at 4 a.m., drunk and looking for excitement, and broke her ankle. Belle calls Carrie from the Carlyle hotel, where she ended up after running away the previous night from her husband after a fight. Next, Carrie has a drink with Samantha Jones, her “sometimes” best friend (92).
