Chapters 36-40 Summary

Ben Freidman is at his desk thinking about Donatella. He had someone check her flat, and it seems someone had already cleaned away the mess. He checked her work and was told she had called in sick. Rosenthal has not been in contact, and Friedman is almost certain Donatella has killed him and the other two men. Freidman is worried Donatella will now tell someone about him, so he decides to make out she is a psycho. It will not be hard because he just has to say Mossad had stopped her contract years ago, and she has betrayed Israel by freelancing.

Rudin goes to see Clark. He is desperate to show him the contents of the envelope, and when they meet, he can hardly contain his excitement. He tells Hank about the illegal operations Irene has run in the Middle...
