Summary

In Chapter 11, Nick and Marta go inside Mrs. Starch's house.They see that the house is full of dead animals which have been stuffed. Nick realizes that the animals are on the endangered species list. As they look around, they hear a car door slam outside. They hide in a chest, but Marta is claustrophobic which causes her hand to feel limp and clammy. Nick pokes her to make sure she is still alive. She yells at him, alerting the person who was in the car, and is now in the house, that they are there. He finds them, orders them to get out of the chest, and tells them that they are going for a ride. He takes them in Mrs. Starch's car. He tells them that his name is Twilly. Nick tells him who he and Marta are and Marta makes...
