Chapters 25 - 27 Summary

Francesca cannot get the most recent Will Trombol kiss out of her mind. In detention one afternoon, Jimmy Hailer says that he had been caught that morning smoking a cigarette with Will Trombol, a friendship that shocks and surprises Francesca. Jimmy spends the entire detention teasing Francesca for getting felt-up outside a bathroom, and announces that Will told him something important but he can't remember what it was. On the bus on the way home, Justine's tuba guy gets on, while she blushes wildly in the backseat. When Francesca tells Thomas Mackee that Justine is embarrassed because she's too afraid to ask tuba guy his real name, Thomas takes it upon himself to loudly announce Justine's name, over and over.
