Chapters 1 and 2 Summary

Chapter 1. Schuyler Van Alen is the main character of the novel. She is a vampire that is currently living in the town house of the Force family. Schuyler walks into the Duchesne School, where she attends with both of her housemates, Jack and Mimi Force. Mimi despises Schuyler, but Mimi's former best friend, Bliss, comes to Schuyler 's defense.

Chapter 2. Mimi reveals her true identity as a Blue Blood. Mimi enters The Force Towers, which is the building where the family business is run. Mimi enters the elevator and takes it down thousands of feet underground and enters the room where the Conclave is meeting. Mimi reveals that in her former life she and her brother are responsible for defeating Lucifer in the battle of the end of days.
