Summary

The entire chapter is composed of the emails exchanged between Alex and Henry once Alex is back in the US. Alex compares Henry to Luke Skywalker, lauding his bravery, while also talking about they have not been able to explore Texas together. Henry thinks about leaving his family and royal life behind completely and hiding out with Alex in the East Bedroom of the White House, wondering what kind of rumors the Daily Mail would spread about him. He considers coming out to Phillip, and with Alex and Bea fully supporting him, Henry does just that. However, Phillip is not supportive, admonishing his brother for not towing the family line and enlisting in the military, while also disgracing the expectations of men in the family. Henry wonders if he could move to New York to take over Pez's youth shelter there and just leave...
