Prologue and Part 1, Slave: Chapters 1-6

Prologue

Darrow listens to the ArchGovernor give a speech about the destruction of Earth and how Earth’s downfall was brought on by the lie that all men are created equal. This is not true, according to the ArchGovernor. Some men are better than others by their birthright. Those men have been born into the top echelon of their society. They have the colors. The others in the society are never allowed to obtain the position or colors. Darrow knows he is wrong because he plans to rise up and destroy them all.
