Summary

When Maja arrived at the Fagerman house, in Chapter 40, on the morning of the shooting, she heard Sebastian tell the guard that his father would work from home and didn't want to be disturbed. Maja was glad she didn't have to encounter Claes and waited for Sebastian in the hall to make sure she wouldn't run into Claes. She had no idea what Sebastian would do next since he had to find another place to live. But she didn't ask him about it and she didn't ask what was in the heavy bags they carried to his car. She can't understand why he suddenly wants to go to school, unless he wanted to confront Samir and Amanda about what they had done at the party the previous night.
