Lamp Store

The lamp store is where Mira gets her first job after moving away from home to attend college. Mira always works the evening shifts and is thus responsible for turning off all of the lamps at the end of the day. She finds the job tedious and believes that the only person who can understand the nature of her work is the man responsible for turning off the lights at the lighting store across the street.

While working here, Mira falls in love with one particular lamp. The lamp is the cheapest piece at the store, but Mira thinks it is beautiful. She also likes that the lamp is the least expensive because it makes it seem more attainable to her. She eventually steals the lamp one day at the end of her shift.
