Point of View

The point of view of Pod is predominantly third-person, usually from the perspective of Ea, the main character. The narration is tuned in to what is going on her head at all times, lending a distinct psychological element to the proceedings. She is a highly relatable and emotionally resonant character. She comes of age amid a changing ocean that is slowly being poisoned by human interference, and she is attempting to figure out her place within that ocean.
