Summary

In Chapter 13, which returns to 2018, Andy learned from an Internet search that Clara Bellamy was formerly a prima ballerina. Andy was able to find no address for Clara but did find where Edwin Van Wees, a lawyer who had represented Clara during a lawsuit, lived. On the hunch that Edwin might know how to locate Clara, Andy decided to drop by his house.

Andy sat in Mike’s truck outside what she believed was Edwin’s house and packed her things into her messenger bag. She saw Mike’s wallet and decided to look inside for the first time. There were four different driver’s licenses as well as what Andy decided was a fake U.S. Marshall’s badge.
