Summary

Celestine approached Miss Trimble, showing her an engagement ring that Jerry had gotten her. She told Miss Trimble he had just proposed and had told her he was pulling off a stunt later on that would bring in a lot of money. Jimmy helped his father with his disguise and pointed him in the direction of Ogden’s room. On entering, Mr Crocker is greeted by Ogden pointing a gun at him. Ogden relented once he realized he was there to kidnap him, believing him to be one of Buck Maginnis' men, a man who had previously kidnapped him. Ogden agreed to go with him as long as he was given 50% of the ransom. Jimmy watched them sneak out of the house from the library and was startled by someone else entering the room.
