Chapters 38 - 40 Summary

Cayce rides the underground randomly until finally settling into a cafe. Peter emails her from the Charles de Gaulle Airport, still waiting to be cleared for take off. She tells him she's seen the creator at work and adds that she is glad he is almost there, including the email address for Stella. Back in the lobby of The President Hotel, she asks for her passport. She turns to find herself face to face with Dorotea who knows she has found Stella and Nora, but has yet to inform Bigend. She asks Cayce to join her in the lounge, and then drugs Cayce's drink. When she realizes it, Cayce screams.
