Summary

In Chapter One, Olivia goes to a hotel bar. It is revealed that she moved from New York to L.A. to start a law firm, Monroe & Spencer, with her friend Ellie. While she agonized over her decision, she loves the work and being her own boss. She asks the bartender for a dessert menu and makes fun of it. A man nearby agrees with her.
