Summary

Chapter 23 returns to Dana who was certain that some kind of dark magic was affecting her. She saw Astrid in the mirror and used magic to break it. However, that shattered all of the glass in the back room aside from the mirror. Dana realized that they had some of Astrid's power, but it was causing their spells to do things they did not want. She and Fee saw Astrid in every reflective surface. Even Linh, who had an affinity for spirits, was horrified and refused to speak to Dana until Astrid was gone.

In Chapter 24, Ivy confronts her father about the safe, Dana, and Ivy's lost memories. He promises that Dana was going to tell Ivy, but Ivy mentions the girl and says that Dana must be in danger. She feels bitter when her Dad says to trust Dana and...
