Judges Summary

Jean says that her mother begins to insist that she move from her home. She recalls when she'd told her mother she had no intention of becoming a missionary—the field she'd trained for most of her life and that her mother had pledged her for from the time of her adoption. Her mother says that if Jean remains at home to preach, she'll fall in love with a man and end her career in the ministry.
