Summary

Chapter 21 – Dahlia and the others watch the news. The Lieutenant-Governor of Florida, Adrian Rogers, addresses rumors about Natural Farming. He says it is a clean American company that has no ties to any terrorist group, that Natural Farming has made a tentative deal with Morocco to turn the nation into a major food exporter, and that other groups are claiming credit for the idea. Michael hopes the public affirmation of a deal, and the public denial of terrorism, has been enough to throw C-8 off its game, and make violence unnecessary. However, the problem now becomes Zayad, who without a C-8 deal acts on his own and goes home and loses face. Zayad decides there will be violence.
