Chapters 9 and 10 Summary

Chapter 9

Emma and Galen drive to his beach house. It is the beach house of her dreams - four maybe five stories, painted sea green with white shutters. It turns out that Emma told her mother that they were dating, too. She wouldn't believe anything less. As they walk up to the porch, everything goes black for Emma and she begins to faint. Galen picks her up before she falls. She's afraid and cries as he sits on the couch and holds her in his lap. She feels the heat simmering between them. She becomes sleepy and falls asleep in his arms.

Emma wakes up later alone on the couch. She hears someone yell for Galen. It's Rayna, his rude sister. She hears another male voice but it's not Galen. Soon Rayna and Toraf enter. Toraf is handsome with black hair...
