Scars

Scars are symbols of judgment and imperfection. Donovan judges his daughter by her scars when he tells her that she does not have the tools necessary to be an actress. Fallon also fears that people are judging her by her scars and seeing her only as flawed. Ben convinces Fallon that her scars are part of what makes her beautiful and persuades her to stop covering them up.
